Scaling curb ramp detection with open government data and street-level imagery.
I led RampNet at UW’s Makeability Lab under Prof. Jon Froehlich. We used government curb ramp records to automatically label more than 210,000 Street View panoramas and train a curb ramp detector, creating a dataset and model for accessibility research.
